Setup Guide

Install from BigCommerce

Find StorePush in the BigCommerce App Marketplace and click Install. Grant the requested permissions to connect your store.

Create your StorePush account

If you don't have one yet, create a free StorePush account at storepush.io/sign-up.

Connect your store

After installation, you'll be redirected to the StorePush connection page. Enter your merchant slug (found in your StorePush dashboard under Settings) and click Connect. This links your BigCommerce store to StorePush.

Configure your Social Ads

Go to the Social Ads tab in your StorePush dashboard. Customize the overlay or banner that visitors see when they arrive from your social media ads. Copy the URL parameters and add them to your ad links.

Configure your App Clip card

Go to the Configure App Clip tab to set up your Smart App Banner. Upload a header image, set your store title and subtitle, and choose the action button text. This is the card shoppers see in Safari before the App Clip launches.

Set up Push Notifications

Go to the Push Notifications tab to configure abandoned cart, browse, and checkout recovery triggers. Set delay times, discount offers, and notification copy. Shoppers who opt in to notifications can be brought back to complete their purchase — no app install or email capture required.

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. StorePush uses Apple App Clips, which are instant experiences that launch without an App Store download. Shoppers tap your ad and are shopping in seconds.

How do push notifications work without an app?

App Clips utilize ephemeral push notifications. StorePush can send push notifications for up to 8 hours — enough to recover abandoned carts and checkout sessions.

What platforms are supported?

StorePush works with BigCommerce, Shopify, and WooCommerce. The App Clip experience works on all iPhones running iOS 16.6 or later.

How are discounts applied?

StorePush automatically creates and applies discount codes on your BigCommerce store. Social ad discounts and push notification recovery discounts are configured separately in the dashboard and synced to your store.
